DAN GRAHAM: BEYOND
MOCA GRAND AVENUE
The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA)
Creating the marketing proposal for the DAN GRAHAM: BEYOND exhibition was a multi-faceted undertaking and I had to opportunity to work with other departments in the museum. I collaborated closely with MOCA Curator Bennett Simpson and Exhibition Research Assistant Christine Robinson to represent this ground-breaking structural artist in his first national exhibition. I developed the exhibition overview to include the introduction, biography, highlights, and key works of the artist. This involved creating the copy and arranging the layout for the imagery, captions, use of typography, and artwork.
Collaborating closely with Development, we created the branding, marketing, and public relations strategy for the national exhibition. I created the sponsorship overview to present the museum’s branding and event opportunities to the client. While working independently on this project, I have also worked closely with Design, Production, Education, and Marketing departments to secure complete information and compose various sections of the proposal.
